Hi,Pdhayward,I does not recommand you to do that.It is unsafe.Because the error between new tyre and old one are too big.

HI, First off Trailblazers and pretty much of the factory specs I have found out are the same from 2002 and up, with maybe only diff is the not size, i think. I done a great deal of research on them as I own a 2002 but its what they call a cross over year, so it falls under a 2003 model. It came with OEM Factory rims as follows RIM 8Jx17 ET30 BOLT PATTERN 6x127. The ET30 means the factory specs is a +30 Offset so yes you can run that size tire on your Trailblazer no problem. I love the tire, a bit harder to find, most stores don't stock a lot of them. My favorite tire brands in order of priority, depending on what your wanting, are as follows. All Season Tires: #1 Nitto NT 421Q 245 /65 R17 111H XL BSW / #2 Yokohama YK-HTX 245 /65 R17 107T SL BSW / #3 Goodyear FORTERA HL 105S OWL & #4 Assurance® CS, last one also a good tire #5 MICHELIN LTX A/T 2 -245 /65 R17 107S SL RWL this is SUV/CROSSOVER ALL-SEASON Which is now my second list for you. The Michelin is #3 in this list. #1 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 / #2 Geolandar G055
I hope this was of some help. I wanted all my hours of research to not be wasted.

Opps, the offset is +35 not +30 so its ET35.

I hope you did your research, the rim measurement on your trailblazer is one that makes it very hard to find any aftermarket rims for it! The wheel front hub center bore size is 77.8 mm and also important your is the bolt pattern and bolt size. This is the one that makes finding rims even more of a challenge. the bolt on pins must be 6 and the size is 6/127 mm also know as 6/5. Because of the rareness of rims I am going to say potbelly not if you did not do your homework, the chances of lucking out is not good. You also have other things like alignment rings or spacers to worry about, clearance as well, might need a lift to put on that big wheels and also very important is factory specs for the offset is +35. The max offset and to keep things from wearing out and having big problems tracking from the wheel center line is +25. SO to sum this up, do your research and homework before changing any rims. and keep your old rims no matter what, there is a shortage of them and people looking for them, especially if their decent Alloy rim, they can also be reconditioned. Hope this helped. Don
