I have a 2013 Fortuner wheel size 265/65R17, and I need to know if I can fit tire size 275 on my same ring instead of 265? Basically I need to place a wider tire on my car so is it possible & safe?

      Thanks, Maan

        2011 Toyota Fortuner

I own a 2011 Toyota Fortuner V6 4.0l and I have stock tires on for 3 years and I want to change them and get better ones which would be best for off-road (mostly desert) and also good on highways. I don't know my tire size but I think its R17. Any suggestions ?

hi wanted to ask, if I upgrade to 20" on my fortuner, am afraid that riding comfort will suffer. Any recommendations or combination of wheel size for 20" so riding comfort won't suffer too much? Thanks

Hi,Flon32,20'' is little large for your car.It may rub your car body.I do recommand that you can take 19''.But if you trully want to 20'',Try tire size195/70/20 .

I have 2012 Toyota Fortuner. I want to change my tires and alloys. I like a particular Black Rhino alloy but it is 17 by 9 inch. my current true size is 265/65. I have to put fresh tires as well. But I don't know if i can use the new Alloy of 17 by 9. the data on this website says 17 inch to 18inch and 7.5 to max 8 inch width. Please help!

Hi,Pranjal,if both rims are 17*9,I do not suggest that you put them on.You can put 17*9 on the rear and put 17*8 on the front,But in this way,you car may also need spacers on the rear wheels. So,If possible, try 8'' or 7.5''.
