Hi, I have an 2008 C4 Picasso VTR+ with 215/55R16 tyres on but want a larger size, what would you recommend?
I have a 2016 C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive Plus with 205/55 R17" wheels. I want a space saver steel spare but can't find a reasonably priced one anywhere. Question: will the Volvo S60 or Vauxhall Insignia R17 wheels - of which there are many - fit? The 5-stud 108mm diameter fixings are OK, but what about the clearance for the brake caliper?
Hi,John Armstrong,The offset for C4 Grand Picasso is 25mm.So if the rims you have is that offset,It can fit for.
John. Thanks for the reply, but I think there is more to it than just the offset dimension. For instance the clearance from the rim plate to the brake caliper will depend on how far outboard the brake disc is on the hub, and how thick (ie wide on the axis of the axle) the caliper is. And then how dished the rim plate is. All of these dimensions seem to vary with the make of car and spare independently of the offset. The only thing I can think to do is to go and measure how dished are the rim plates of various makes of spare wheel, but I wish there was an easier way! John Armstrong
Hi. My wife has been given a Citroën Grand C4 Picasso 2009 2.0HDi Reg is YE59 DSO.A family member has passed it down to her. Registered 16/11/2009. I've got the tyre pressure message appearing every so often after driving for a while. It's got the original alloys with tyre sizes 205/55 R16! When I do a search for tyres with the Reg they show tyres size as 215/55 R16.Now when I put the details on here it states tyre size is 215/50 R17.Can someone please advise on this confusion, Cheers Nad
...not sure on what’s the best / biggest / widest / maximum tires or rims will fit your car?
Write about the tires you are currently driving on.
