    17x8 wheels on a 1989 Ford Probe

Will 17x8 wheels that were on a 1970 Mustang fit a 1989 Ford Probe? If they won't how about wheels from a 2007 Mustang fit the Probe

Hi there 1996 Ford probe what is the biggest ...

Hi there 1996 Ford probe what is the biggest size rims I can put on a 1996 Ford probe and the size of the tires example like the low-profile size of the tire and what will be the best look and size of rims and tires that will fit without doing no lift or pay mechanical fees that I can just buy off of the Internet and put it on myself would you let me know what would be the best size and tires that I could put on. And what do you think of a 1996 Ford probe for $950 with 184,000 miles 96 in good condition with 2/12 beat and stock rims and clean title with 195 dollars dmv fee. Good buy or not? Thank you

The largest combo you can use is a 19x8.5 ET45 with 235/35/19 Tire. If you go with a 8" wide wheel lower the offset to ET 40 you can run a 245/35/19. In either case you will have a larger diameter tire than stock so your speedometer will be slightly off. Note that my numbers are based off of a 1995 Probe GT without coilovers.
