Hi... I need to lift the car bit... my current tire size is 185/65/14... with my tire change, I was thinking of using Alloy Wheels instead of current steel rims... Can i increase the ground clearance by changing wheel and tire size? what would be the maximum height that I can get? and what is the recommended tire and rim size for maximum ground clearance? please help me on this...
Hi,ruchitha,Yes,you can change bigger tires and wheels to have a highter ground clearance. And for the max height,It depend on which wheel size you want to fit.You car is 14'' now,You can use 15-17'' rims. And For the max ground clearance,It need to use tire calculator to check it.
Does changing Honda airwave 2008 model wheels from 185/65r14 to 195/65r15 mean the gearbox will be damaged? Or is it just an error in the speedometer and mileage readings one needs to care about?
...not sure on what’s the best / biggest / widest / maximum tires or rims will fit your car?
