Hi,Ken,Your car can use 16'' tires and wheels.About the perfomence,It depend on many other element.Small wheels and tires will lower the car ground clearance, bring more steady in snow.

Just had my first service and asked Kia guy about using 16in snow tires - he said it can't be done as the brakes are larger and they won't fit......does this makes sense. I know Canadian Tires have two rims listed, one Custom and the other Universal....but the guy at Kia seemed very sure of what he was saying..... anyone heared of this ???

Hi,Ken Allen,For the brakes,If the brake is large,You can use bigger offset 16'' wheels or put some spacers in the wheels.I do not think the brakes can determin whether 16''/17'' rims fit for the car.

Hi,Hod Marple,The stock car wheel size is 15*5.5,offset is 45mm for kia forte,So 18'' rims is ok,And i think the offset is little big,If possible,You can try 18*8.0 offset 42mm/40mm.For the tires it is compatible.
