Hi,Rick,The wheel size is ok,But the offset is little small,it is 42mm for Tribute, but Mazda 3 have 50mm offset,You can use some wheel space to adapt it

Hi,Wayne, 235/70r16 is compatible with 255/65/16,For 16*8 rims,if the offset and bolt pattern is also compatible, you can use it.

Hi John, I’m currently using stock 235/70/r16 tires but was looking to go 245/75r16 and was wondering if I’d have any issues. Thanks

Hello, About ready to replace the tires on my …

                Hello,
About ready to replace the tires on my 2008 4wd 3.0 Tribute,
Like most here, there is currently 235/70/16 on the original 16x7 Alloy rims..
I would like to go larger if I could.
I don't necessarily want to go taller, in fact the height is fine, really don't want to go shorter...... mainly wider for a beefier look.
What options do I have ?? Hopefully several.
                Thanks,
                pete

                    Thanks John for the reply.
As I have 235/70/16 now on 16x7 Alloy Rims...
I guess what I'm asking is Without having to change rims to 17 or 18 as you suggested,...What would be the largest tire that would fit without complications ?
                    Thanks,

...not sure on what’s the best / biggest / widest / maximum tires or rims will fit your car?

Write about the tires you are currently driving on.
