Just bought a used clk 350. The dealer put new rims and tires on it. The rear tires are a bit wider than the front so I can of course only do rotation of left and right. is it normal to have rears wider than fronts?

hi i have 2004 mercedes clk 240 with 16 inch alloys and i have bought 17 inch alloys of a 2009 c class and i went to have them fitted and the garage said i need spacers any idea what size?
Hi,Grant Nefdt,The clk 240 offset is 36mm,and c class offset is 38mm.So,I don't think you need wheel spacers.
Hello! I bought a set of 8,5 inch x 18 inch (ET 30) original Mercedes wheels for my 2005 CLK500. According all data I could find Mercedes allows only 7,5 inch wide wheels at front with ET37 + max 225/40 R18 tires. 8,5 inch requires 245?? Will I get problems with shock strouts?
My idea was to use similar size tires (245/35 R18) front and rear so I can rotate them as rear tires wear really fast....
