I tried to put a 20" full size alloy wheel that matches the wheels on my 2015 Dodge Ram truck up in the spare tire area, but the retainer at the end of the cable was too large for the alloy wheel center hole. So it looks like I am stuck with the 17" temporary spare that it came with from the factory. So save yourself the exspense and hassle and do not attempt this. 3-3_
Did you ever find a solution? I want to find a rim that has a center bore large enough too.
Nope, I am stuck with the 17" steel wheel...
Does anyone know if the 20" factory steel wheel center hole diameter is large enough to accept the spare tire retainer bracket at the end of the spare tire cable? I want to upgrade my spare tire to match the 20" wheels on my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 due to long road trips. Thanks, Mike
Hi,Mike Barrera,According to my data, the center hole diameter for 20'' car wheel is 87mm.It is factory wheel size. And Normally,if wheels are all factory wheels,The cb diameter is same.
The Thread pitch has changed - My 2014 RAM 1500 EXPRESS has studs that measure 14 x 1.5
Can I put a 22" wheel on 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 and what size offset can I go with what size tires
...not sure on what’s the best / biggest / widest / maximum tires or rims will fit your car?
Write about the tires you are currently driving on.
