You can go from ET35 (sticks out a little bit) to ET40 (a bit more within the arches - not a problem unless you have huge brake calipers)

        Hi!

It depends on which VW model, for example a Golf IV has the same specs!

Check your bolt pattern , it should be 5x100 if so many vehicles have the same pattern . A quick look on Google or Craigslist should help find the wheel of your dreams.

Golf IV has the same wheels specs as well, since both cars are built on the same platform.

I have a 71 super beetle and recommend selling your disk brakes for a different bolt pattern disks. There are only a few vehicles that ever had the 4x130 bolt pattern. The 5x130 bolt pattern has more options mainly Porsches. And the lower front struts off a later model be ie. 73 have the same bottom perch, a skinnier spring, and a different top hat can be used at the top. Then running a wider offset wheel is ok. Good luck. I hate looking like every one else at the show. My VW has 20s and the lower profile tire isn't bigger than a factory 15" tire. I was shocked but prefer a larger amount of rubber on California roads.lol. It's too easy to sing a rim with 20's. Poops

I was using 13" rims with 165R tires with positive offset. About 2" out from the fenders. Looked cool but speedometer wasn't correct. I'd want to go back to 15" rims. I dropped the front end down 2 1/2" and I'm pretty sure they'll rub. I was told to use 145R tires on 4 1/2" rims, (my 13" rims were 5 1/2" wide) I'm using a 1/4" spacer to clear my calipers now. My bolt pattern is 4x130 mm, need help. Hard to understand your calculator. Thanks

Current wheels are 215 55 r17, 8.5 wide with a 45mm offset. I know the diameter of the new wheels works. Worried about the width and offset being too much. New tires and rims I'm looking at buying are 235 35 r19, 9.5 wide and 35mm offset.
