May I know what the best offset range for beetle 1.2tsi , 2013 model
You can go from ET35 (sticks out a little bit) to ET40 (a bit more within the arches - not a problem unless you have huge brake calipers)
I just got a 99 beetle.am I able to make a 06 or 07 vw rim work.
It depends on which VW model, for example a Golf IV has the same specs!
I assume you meant the "New Beetle"..

Hi, I'm looking to fit new alloys to 2016 VW Beetle Cabriolet 2ltr Turbo, can I fit 20" X 9.5" 35 offset wheels with 245 X 35 X 20 without rubbing or am I better sticking with 20" X 8.5" 40/42 offset with 235 X 35 x 20 many thanks
Hi, Simon,I think 20*8.5 40 offset with 235/35/20 is better

want, wheel/ tire combo for a 1971 super bug. lowered 21/2" front. after market disk brakes. now using 1/4" spacers to clear calipers.
Hi,Ted Bevins,Can you explain your question?
I was using 13" rims with 165R tires with positive offset. About 2" out from the fenders. Looked cool but speedometer wasn't correct. I'd want to go back to 15" rims. I dropped the front end down 2 1/2" and I'm pretty sure they'll rub. I was told to use 145R tires on 4 1/2" rims, (my 13" rims were 5 1/2" wide) I'm using a 1/4" spacer to clear my calipers now. My bolt pattern is 4x130 mm, need help. Hard to understand your calculator. Thanks
