    The offset for the 3.5i engine with 245/40R19 tires  on 8Jx19 rim is a positive 50mm not the 55mm that you have listed.

    Hi,Chris,For the stock tire size of 2003 Acura Tl,it is 235/45R17 or 215/50R17,So 225/55/17 is not compatible with it.For offsets.It depend on your wheel size,if you also change wheels,You need to pay attention to offset.But If you just change tires,You need to make sure they are compatible.I suggest that you'd better try 225/55/17 to see whether it is safe.

    just bought 4 225/55/17  snow tires w wheels and wondering if they need offsets and can i put just 2 on front until my rear 205/60/16's wear down. then i would add the 2 snow tires on rear? your opion is much appreciated, thanks

    just bought 4 225/55/17 snow tires w wheels and wondering if they need offsets and can i put just 2 on front until my rear 205/60/16's wear down. then i would add the 2 snow tires on rear? your opion is much appreciated, thanks
