I need to know about the wheel specs for Hyundai i20 elite... Plc update your site with new models...
don't go bigger than a 195/50/16 on the front or i'd say a 195/40/17 and the rear will take 205's
My tire size is 185/70/14
Can i change the tyre size and keep the rim?
Hi,Sithembile, yes, but you need to make sure new tires are compatible with your current. You can find tire calculator to check compatible.
Hi,i have i20 magna2012 diesel car.currently i am using tyre of size 175/70 R14,can i upgrade it to 185/70R14???will it put any effect on my car??
Hi, i have Hyundai i20 1.4 CRDi 2013 model having stock setup as 185/65/R14 (5.5j×14 ET 46). Can i upgrade to 195/55/R16 (6j×16 ET 52) ?
Hi, Ankur Singh,The wheel size is ok,but for these two tires size,They are not compatible. You can try 195/50/16
Thanks for replying. Going below 55 profile is not suitable for place where i am living as it would surely scrape my alloys , adversely effect the suspension and comfort of passengers . I tried using stock rims (16×6J 52ET) and tyres (195/55/R16) from my friend's hyundai verna and did not faced any kind of issue. Would like to tell that Hyundai Verna sold in international markets have 16x6j ET52 rims and195/50/R16 tyres from factory whereas in india its sold with 195/55/R16 tyres on same 16x6j ET52 rims from factory. If speedometer error is the only issue then i am okay with it and if its anything else then please let me know.Thanks.
Hi,Ankur Singh,The reason for it's not compatible is the diameter of 195/55/16 is 620.9mm,but 185/65/14 is 596.1mm.The distance of these diameter is not in compatible area.If you use 195/55/16,it is not only speedometer error but also the tire may scrape car body. But it depend on your condition.
For testing purpose i used 195/55/r16 from my friend's verna with 5 people on board and tyres did not scrape car's body.
Please update wheel details of facelifted i20 !
pls send the tyre size and upsize for each and everycar
and also i need car name and tyre size
...not sure on what’s the best / biggest / widest / maximum tires or rims will fit your car?
