Hi,I have a set of alloys 17' off a 2008 clk and I wish to put them on a 2010 e212 220cdi. Is it possible?
Hi. Is it possible to put 215/55/16" wheels on a 1988 E260 Mercedes? What about 225/45/17"?
Hi,Justin,both of them are fitable
What about an 18"rim? Any idea on what the max tyre thickness and width would have to be also?
Hi,Justin,18'' rims is also fitable. For the max tyre thickness,It is also depend on the tire width.I suggest that you confirm the wheel firstly,And then you can show your wheel width,I can help you confirm the best tire width based on the wheels.
Hey John, what about 235/35 19" rims?
235/40 were those 18" rims
Hi,Justin,235/35/19 and 235/40/18 is tire size. Not wheel size.you need to confirm wheel size like 18*8.5,If you decide this wheel size,The tire size you can try 225/45/18
Hi, current tires on rim are 225/55/16...is it possible to replace tires 215/55/16 by keeping same rims? Thanks in advance!
Is it possible to put smaller size rims 17" or 16" on 2007 Mercedes E350 - 18" Sports Package?
The current wheels are 245/40/18, 8.5" wide rim in front and 265/35/18, 9" wide rim in rear. They look good, but due to low profile, the rim is getting bent on Michigan roads all the time.
Thank you in advance for any help,
The w211 AMG I do not think the ET IS all correct I just mounted winter tyres AMG Rims Front 18" x 7.5" ET25 225X25Rear 18" x 9,5" ET28 275X28
I am just wondering why specs here shows so high a ET?
8.5x18 ET38, 245/40 - front9.5x18 ET44, 265/35 - rear are factory wheel size. Are you shure that wheels on your W211 AMG factory?
What is 7j*16H2 wheels?
Hi, Sarhan,Can you explain your questions?
Hi, is anyone able to tell me what the biggest size rim i would be able to fit onto a 1987 E230? It currently has 15" with 205/65R15 but would like to possibly put some 17's on with a lower profile tyre. If possible, could i also have the PCD's and Offsets etc?? Much appreciated.
Hi,Jason Louw,yes,you can use 17'' rims.the tire size can be 235/50/17.the pcd is 5*112.the offset is 37mm
Thank you so much John, greatly appreciated.
Hi - would anyone be able to help please... on a E280CDI Sport W211 can I fit 16'' steel wheels? (this is as a second pair of wheels for winter tyres). The manual says that I need to change the rear rim to put winter tyres to match the front one which is a 245/40/18 8.5j. I have also came across winter tyres in the exact current sizes 265/35/18 rear, and 245/40/18 front. However, very tempted to get smaller rim and narrower winter tyre, (it's also a much better price and winter tyre bigger selection!). So tempted to just get a set of steel wheels on 16'' with 225/55/16 winter tyres on. What I don't know here is whether on my SPORT model 16'' will fit, it may interfere with the breaks calipers(?). Did anyone put 16'' on E280CDI SPORT, or can anyone give me a reference I can look this up? Many thx!
Hi,Vas,I just checked the stock rims size for your car,it is 17*7.5,So,If possible, you can try 17'',I think 16'' rims is little small
Many Thx! Would you change rims to 17'' or maybe just put winter tyres on the existing configuration I have? there is little space for snow chains etc... but traction wise and price wise this would be optimal. Thank you!
Could you augment the W126 list to include SD and SDL models? Thanks in advance.Mike U.
Hi,Mike U,Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi there, I own a 2013 MB C350 coupe, the wheel set up is original so the read tires are wider than the front ones. My question is if I were to purchase steel rims with winter tires can I go with the same size all around, does it effect the 4matic system or the traction control, and can i get away with tire pressure sensors? thanks
Hello,Would a set of AMG rims 17x8.5 j34 fit on my stock 1995 w124 wagon? If so, what size tire do you recommend? Thanks
Thats exactly my setup. They fit and my wagon looks very sharp
I have a 2014 Mercedes E350 "4MATIC " original rims are 18" but trying to upgrade to 19"x8.5 front and rear 19"x9.5 with a 35 mm offset meaning "stagger wheels " but I went to the tire shop and they told me that staggered wheels are not recommended for my vehicle due to the 4Matic engine.
So question number one. Can my 2014 4Matic Mercedes take staggered wheels ?
Is 19"x8.5 with a 35mm offset better all the way around.
Is the 35mm offset a good offset on 19" rims I like the rims to be flush with the fender and not out the fender please help thank you in advance
Hi,Rob350,1.Yes,your car can use Staggered wheels,In fact,Staggered wheels are very widely used in BMW cars. Some of them are 4 matic engine.2.For 19'' rims,35mm offset is also ok.The standard offset for 18'' is 39mm,They are compatible.
Thank you John
What size tire do you recommend so they don't scrub against my fender ?
I have a 99 W210 e300td. Can I use Staggered wheels? 17x7.5 frt and 17x8.5 in the rear? What size tires would you recommend?
Fyi original rims 16x7.5 on a 215/55. The new rims if it matters came from a 13 Mercedes C300
Hi,Flavio,Yes,you can use staggered rims,If you want to use C300 rims,You need to put some spacers. They have different offset.
John, how do I know what spacers I need and tire size?
Hi, Flavio Bugarin,The offset for your e300 is 42mm,if you want to use C300 car rims,It's offset is 47mm,So,you can use 3mm-5mm spacers. For the tire size, you can try 225/50/17 for the front,245/45/17 for the rear
Hi,My car is e350 2007 (Sport package?),tires in the current sizes 265/35/18 rear, and 245/40/18 front.
Can I use "all 245/40/18" or "All 265/35/18" for all 4 wheels?
Is 245/40/18 fit with ‘9Jx18”(Current with 265/35/18 tires)?
Is 265/35/18 fit with ‘8.5Jx18”(Current with 245/40/18 tires)?
" All 245/40/18" or "All 265/35/18", which is better and which is cheaper.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Hi,John Sam,you can try 265/35/18 for 18*9 and 245/40/18 for 18*8.5.You can try all 245/40/18.
Thank you very much for your help.
Hi my car is a E250 coupe CGI current size is 235/45/17 I'd like to put it 255/35/19 rear and 235/35/19 front what would be the widest in front? and also I'd like to know if after changing them I have to reprogram the car computer or ECU or anything else or its just change them up and done. (I had a F150 truck and I had to reprogram the ECU due to the tire and rims size that's why I'm asking it) i appreciate your help. Tks
Hi,Camilo fajardo,For front tire,The widest is 255/35/19.After you change the wheels and tires, you'd better take the balance test. For car computer,it also need to test. You can let the wheel dealer do it.

Thanks John the salesman at the wheel shop said the same thing except that he said the size of the tire should be 255/25/19 I considered that 25 lots low I said to myself that he does not care only wants to sell me the wheels especially since he does not have multiple options for my car
Hi,Monir,Are you sure the saleman want to sale you 255/25/19 tires? This tires are not commonly used for cars.I can't find it even in website.Do not suggest that you use it.
