bolt pattern for a 66 US bug wasn't 4*130, but rather the wide 5 of 5 * 205. Other than that, you have a great web site.

The wheels could have been put on a Beetle or a Super Beetle, but they didn't come with 14 inch wheels. Beetles came with 15 inch diameter wheels in widths ranging from 4 inches to 5.5 inches. Some of the early post war Beetles came with 16 inch diameter wheels. If you had the correct center disc for the bolt pattern and the correct offset you could have new 16 inch diameter rims welded to the center disc. This is how wider rims are made for the original centers.

A special edition sports Beetle or Fusca. was made in Brazil that came with 14 inch wheels, a couple of thousand were produced so rare.
Not sure but I think sixties camper vans had 14 inch wheels too?

Only if you get the right ones designed to fit 68up wheels with 4stud pattern.
The early sixties baby moon won't fit, they only fit 5 stud pattern wheels.

VW Beetles all used 15 inch (381mm) diameter rims from the 1050s until 2003. The Type 2 models did use 14 inch rims for certain years. The type 2 is the bus/kombi.
I have a 1972 European Super Beetle and it came with 5.60X15/4PR tires. For 1972 wheels could have been 4 or 4.5 inches in width.

For stock look practicality a 15 inch diameter. wheel 5 inch wide is ideal with a 165/80 r15 tyre on an air-cooled beetle.
